Hewescraft 250 Alaskan -- New Boat for Alaska Wide Open Charters

Our new boat that Captain Jeff will be the captain of has arrived. After much thought and consideration, we chose a Hewescraft 250. The biggest reason was so we could mount an EZ Anchor 5 on the bow and still have room to see over it. This boat has a door in the windshield that gives safe access to the bow. It is the newest member of the Craig Alaska Fishing Charter fleet. It is getting rigged up with new Garmin Electronics, Scotty Downriggers, Mercury Outboards, and an EZ Anchor winch. We are also equipping it with new Daiwa rods and reels. It will be a fishing machine! So if you’re booked to fish with Jeff,this is your boat. It is deep and very heavily built. Looking forward to sea trials.
